Who doesn't love beautiful glowing and radiant skin ?? But many of us including me face acne, pigmentation, dark circles, dark spots which totally destroy the young-looking skin and bring down the natural glow and texture of it. Some may have it due to genetics or hormonal issues while others have it due to improper skincare regime.

To overcome this I personally went through some changes in my skincare routine and on products that I used before. Trust me it literally helped me fight against my acne problems, pimples, rough skin, and pigmentation.

If I can achieve this then I am sure with some guidance and knowledge anyone can achieve it instantly. The things I am about to share are something that worked for me. I have also mentioned a few other products for other skin types so that they can even adapt to a good, correct, and healthy skincare routine.

This process is common for both men and women. All you need to do is to strictly follow this for 30 days to see an unbelievable result on your skin.

1) Become a water baby -

Whether you have dry, oily or any other skin type it’s very essential to drink at least 3 liters of water daily.

Drinking water helps in flushing out the toxins from your body and hence provides a natural inner glow to your skin. Take a glass of lukewarm water and squeeze half a lemon to it. Now drink in an empty stomach after you get up. This routine is gonna help you get a glowing skin within a few weeks of regular practice. You can also add 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar instead of lemon juice. Both work the same.

2) Cleanse your face -

Combination or normal skin type people can use gentle, water-soluble cleansers that do not leave skin feeling tight or dry. Most combination skin types do well with gel-based or mildly foaming cleansers.

3) Exfoliate twice a week -

It’s obvious that your face will have dead skin cells built up. It clogs the pores and leads to breakouts. To avoid this proper exfoliation is a must.

Regular exfoliation will leave your skin clean, fresh, and glowing. It also helps for products like moisturizers, serums to penetrate deep into the skin layers. Hence, buy a good scrub that is gentle on your skin and at the same time perform a good exfoliation process. Try to exfoliate twice a week for getting the best results. For example - If you have acne-prone skin which is oily and sensitive then go for neem, tulsi face packs as they can help in reducing acne, pimples, and pigmentation. On the other hand, if your face is dull and tanned then go for orange, tomato, or similar type of tan removing face packs.

How many times?

If you have oily skin then definitely put on the pack twice a week after exfoliation. Else for dry, normal, sensitive skin once a week or at least once every two weeks would be more than enough.

5) A good moisturizer and sunscreen

For a day time skincare, moisturizer and sunscreen is a must. Moisturizing your skin helps in keeping it supple and hydrated. It also prevents chances of extreme dryness and oiliness which are really harmful to the skin. Sunscreen helps in protecting your skin from harmful UV rays thus reducing the chances of dark spots, tan, and even sunburns.

6) A night serum or sleeping mask -

When it comes to the night time skincare process, moisturizer should remain consistent, and instead of sunscreen, you need to use a good serum or sleeping mask for helping your skin to rejuvenate and rebuild good and healthy skin cells.

The serum is a skincare product you can apply to your skin after cleansing but before moisturizing. They help to retain moisture. Applying a moisturizer after using a serum will act as a barrier on top of the skin to keep all the good stuff on the serum locked in.

7) A proper diet -

No skincare routine is complete with a proper and healthy diet. External skincare is not enough for your skin to look glowing and healthy. Eating the right food can optimize the production of collagen, reduces wrinkles, aging, and also provides a natural inner glow to your skin.
